Inventory & Fulfillment Lead
This key position leads shipping, receiving and all inventory management at Zim Sailing.
This role oversees the lifecycle of all inventory activities including receiving, storage, production fulfillment, kitting, shipping and returns processes.
It reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and works closely with our Customer Service, Production and Sales Teams. It is a fast-paced job in a rapidly growing business. You’ll need to have previous experience in the role, and very hard working.
Job duties include:
- Pick and pack all parts orders, including managing seasonal help
- Receive all inventory physically, and into our ERP
- Stock & Leveling Shelves
- Cycle counting
- Providing ‘Parts Kits’ to internal teams for production sub-assemblies
- Proactively manages and improves systems and space for inventory handling
- Keeps inventory organized including labeling, storage, and warehouse layout
- Develops and maintains budget for shop equipment and supplies
Skills and Qualifications:
- ● Shipping & Inventory experience required
- ● Strong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Sage, Acumatica all helpful)
- ● Attention to detail and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- ● Valid driver's license & ability to lift 50lbs above your head
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly: $18-21 DOE
- Company sponsored health insurance (BlueCross BlueShield)
- PTO: 2 weeks for first 5 years, then 3 weeks
