The Olimpic Red sail is Olimpic's most popular cut sail. It is a cross cut sail, which means the panels were sewn horizontally. This allows the sail to "breathe" and self-adjust in ever-changing conditions. Intended for sailors under 80 pounds, this sail is perfect as a first racing sail or for the experienced sailor who is still under 80 pounds.
Olimpic Radial-M 100lbs>
The Olimpic Radial Medium sail is a radially cut sail for sailors under 100 lbs. Normal cross cut sails have panels that are sewn together horizontally, allowing for small natural adjustments in changing conditions. Radial cut sails have panels sewn together that radiate out of the clew. This requires more fine tuning and attention to trim, but the result is a fast sail that can point very high! This sail is one of Olimpic's best designs!
