Operations Associate
Zim Sailing is hiring several people to join our Warehouse Operations Team. We are a fast-growing company looking for motivated individuals to work with all aspects of our product – small sailboats. This is an active, hands-on position handling key activities in our warehouse: receiving, inspecting, packing of boats – plus light assembly work.
Our Team is responsible for making sure our boats get to our customers in pristine condition, so attention to detail is a must. Sailing experience is not required, but a strong work ethic and the ability to work as a team is to be successful in this role.
Work is Monday - Friday, 8AM to 430PM. This is a physical job where success is measured by the team as a whole, no member will be left on an island. You’ll be an important person on the team, helping everyone to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and packaging boats for shipment
- Use of hand tools
- Loading & unloading trucks and ocean containers
- Moving boats
Skill Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Comfortable operating hand tools
- Willingness to work hard
- Good communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- Start at: $18/hr
- Company health insurance (BlueCross BlueShield)
- PTO: 2 weeks for first 5 years, then 3 weeks
- 401k Retirement Plan w/company match
