About the Role
Zim Sailing is hiring a hands-on, motivated Boat Fit-Out Associate at our Bristol facility. If you are someone who enjoys working with your hands, takes initiative, and thrives in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
In this role, you will work with a wide range of tools and take on a variety of tasks. It's a job that rewards versatility and a can-do attitude.
This hands-on position is all about getting our small sailboats ready for customers - from rigging and outfitting to final assembly and quality checks. You will work closely with our logistics and fulfillment teams, physically assemble and prepare boats, and ensure every detail meets our higher standards. Work is in-person Monday through Friday. Success here isn’t just about individual effort—it’s about collaboration, shared responsibility, and pride in what we build together.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble boat components and fittings according to specifications
- Conduct final quality control and inspections before delivery
- Ability to lift boats up to 75 pounds
Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, a problem solver
- Willingness to work hard in a physical job
- Forklift experience is a plus
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week
- Requires in person work
