Description

Reinforced cup for the Optimist mast step. This version is improved in several key areas to make it more durable:

  • The base and the round part of the cup are both thicker, increasing from 1.5 mm to 2 mm.
  • The weld between the cup and the threaded section has been made thicker.
  • Note: this reinforced cup weighs 30 grams more than the existing one.
  • Optiparts Part Number EX1205

Upgrade Note: This new RACE cup will fit existing base plates already mounted in boats.
