Starting Line Sailing is looking for a dedicated Shipping and Inventory Leader. This position is responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving and inventory control. The shipping aspect of the business, include the receiving, counting and putting away of all inbound products. On the shipping side, they are responsible for the picking and packing of all customer orders and picking for internal company production needs. On the inventory control side, this position is responsible for keeping all inventory carefully stored, controlled and accurately counted. Additionally, it manages the shelving, and systems of accounting for inventory, with regular cycle counts to match with our ERP system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive all inventory physically, counting and putting away
- Pick and pack all parts orders.
- Ensuring physical inventory matches our ERP system
- Stock & Leveling Shelves
- Weekly cycle counting
- Providing ‘Parts Kits’ to internal teams for production sub-assemblies
- Improves systems for material handling, making the process more efficient
Skills and Qualifications:
- Shipping & Inventory experience required
- Strong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Sage, Acumatica all helpful)
- Attention to detail and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay depending on experience

Job Type
Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts, Mon - Fri 8am - 430pm
Location
In Person in Bristol, Rhode Island. Ability to Commute or Ability to Relocate (prior to start) is required.
