What does it take to be a Zim Sailing Race Team member?
The rules are simple; if you own a Zim ILCA, Zim C420, or Fighter Optimist and race in any capacity, you can join the Zim Sailing Race Team!
What do you have to do as a Zim Sailing Race Team member?
- Included in your Race Team Kit will be a Zim Sailing Race Team sticker, to be applied to your personal boat. This should be put on the transom of your boat.
- When you register for regattas, after your regular team name you can add “/ Zim Sailing” if you would like. For example, you might register under “Bristol Yacht Club / Zim Sailing”.
- Tag Zim Sailing in your social media posts related to sailing! When appropriate, Zim may request to collaborate on Instagram posts.
- If you’d like to write any blog posts or produce videos about rigging, tuning, or boat maintenance the Zim team would be happy to provide feedback and post on Zim’s channels.
The Fine Print:
You don’t need to have purchased your boat new; secondhand owners of Zim or Fighter boats are still eligible. Individual owners are eligible for this program; yacht clubs, sailing programs, and groups are not eligible. Zim Sailing Race Team discount is applicable to limited categories and items. This discount is ONLY for use online, and is not valid for use at Zim trailers or in the Zim Sailing HQ store. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or coupon codes.
