The ILCA is the most popular single handed one-design sailboat of all time, and has introduced countless people to the sport of sailing with over 220,000 boats delivered since inception. Get into a nearly new, race ready ILCA with one of our Ex Charter packages. These boats are complete with everything you need to go sailing including charter hull, new racing sail and lines/rigging, and included dolly, blade bag, and top cover.
All options feature our ZOU ILCA hull. Available in PRO and RACE trim with ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 rig sizes.
RACE Boats have the following items:
- ILCA Class approved hull w/ Rooster hiking strap
- Brand new class-approved North Sail and new battens
- Brand New lines and rigging (Harken Vang, Cunningham, Outhaul)
- A free dolly (the cost of the dolly may be subtracted if you don't need it. Savings of $595)
- A free foil bag and top cover (Savings of $304)
- Boom with Harken Blocks
- Aluminum Lower (composite 6 lower included with Pro Package)
- Carbon Upper
- Rudder and Centerboard
- Carbon Tiller and Extension
PRO boats have everything listed in the RACE configuration, with the following upgrades:
- Pro Vang: Spliced with 3mm Dyneema primary, spliced Kingfisher 4mm Evo Race 78 control line, Harken lower unit, 18mm Harken Fly block in the middle, and a Harken top block w/ key.
- Pro Cunningham: Don't run out of purchase with the Pro 8:1 Cunningham, spliced with a Dyneema primary, spliced Kingfisher 4mm Evo Race 78 control line, and 29mm + 1x 18mm Harken Carbo blocks. Works great for all ILCA sails including Mk2 7 sails!
- Pro Outhaul: Quick-release outhaul system spliced with a Dyneema primary, spliced Kingfisher 4mm Evo Race 78 control line, 18mm + 29mm Harken Carbo blocks, shackle with fixed block for the clew, & Rooster clew strap.
There are three rig sizes, which typically correspond to the following weight ranges. Please note that these ranges are ONLY FOR GENERAL GUIDANCE. Height, experience, and ability level are important factors to consider when selecting your rig size.
ILCA 4: 99-140lbs
ILCA 6: 135-165lbs
ILCA 7: 160lbs+
